Mr.Nick.
Hi folks,I am Nick Holden known generally as a musician and also as a bookseller.
This is a great place for me to communicate and also share my activities,music and thoughts.
After more than 30 years playing bass guitar and singing in" Tony Aston's Original Shades",and
working with great musicians and singers in the country rock jazz music fields i am still at it.Currently playing with"The Eversley Brother's" Rock covers band and also occassionally with the Tony Aston 6 piece all star country band.
All my musician friends know me as Mr.Nick .The bass player.

The History or Story Behind My Site
Apart from dealing in books for many years especially with my late father,I have written and recorded quite a lot of
music.With the help of friend and fellow performer Dave Hayward at his various expanding studio's vocal
tracks and many instrumental themes have been produced.
I hope to have some of these available on a compilation cd
sooner than later.I am still doing occasional live gigs with my old mate Tony Aston,and now and then
take the all star six piece band out.Tony Astons Original Shades was a much respected live band in it's
time and I hope with it's many UK nationwide broadcasts helped promote the music of its time.
